"Only had the tv a couple of weeks. Picture clarity is excellent so is the sound quality. Have yet to try the ambilight will try with a blockbuster movie and in the dark. I would recommend this tv if you want to upgrade."
"Overall its a great TV, the picture quality is superb and after having it for a week or so I have played around and got the right settings for me. The sound is much much better than expected and was probably the most surprising aspect of the television.
Only a couple of things let it down, the first could be due to a fault with the remote, or could be a choice made by the manufacturer - the remote lights up pretty much every button on the remote, on the top you have specific buttons for Freeview, Netflix, Prime and Rakuten - for some reason only the bottom two light up, meaning that in the dark if you want to switch to prime its actually harder using the shortcut button?
The second thing is the LED back lights, for the most part these are excellent and really immerse you in what you are watching, the only problem is when the screen in black the LED's are white? I have no idea why this is the case and why the decision was made for it to be this way, therefore with certain films etc that are dark...I actually turn the LED's off which is a bit of a pain. "

"Amazing value OLED TV , everything you could want from a TV for current gen consoles , 2 x HDMI 2.1 for Series X/S and PS5 at 120hz, also fully compatible with VRR and Dolby Vision presenting games at their very best. Also comes with another 2x HDMI 2.0 sockets for extra connectivity.
Built in media player with dlna for in-home streaming over WIFI or wired connections.
The built in speakers which can be a bit tinny in some models are also excellent with some good presets to suit whatever you may be watching or listening to.
The contrast on this TV is just amazing as OLEDs should be, if it's meant to be black, it IS black ! Even if you like a bright image to be able to appreciate the finer details in some darker scenes, the contrast doesn't suffer for it , no more washed out colours and grey bits just to see the small stuff.
Also worth noting these Philips TVs use LG OLED panels.
The screen is complimented by the backlighting which maybe some see as gimmicky but to me it really adds to the viewing experience, and as it's built into the TV the colours match what's on the screen perfectly, not like the aftermarket add ons that can be a bit off.
Loads of apps available through the Google play store as this TV runs on android .
Now the only 2 negative point I have found so far, firstly the menu system is no where near as slick as others and seems to be aimed more at basic pick a preset and see what that does kind of users.
If you like to tweak a bit more to fine tune to your exact preferences then it could leave you a bit frustrated, saying that though the presets available are pretty decent and can be tweaked a little, maybe a future firmware revision could add some more options and maybe give a better layout.
Secondly, the remotes cursor pad "OK" button is too flush with the surrounding area, it would be better if it were raised slightly, when navigating using the cursor pad having that button more defined really would help to feel where your thumb is and not make you think you need to look to check, or risk pressing a direction again instead of the OK button.
Overall a very good TV and well worth the price, I would most definitely recommend this to anyone.

This OLED is great value for money.
If we had a moan, it would be the remote control buttons so close to each other as to accidentally operating the wrong button.
But if you get one, you will be impressed.
