"The cooker took a little while for my 88yr old mum to work out as she’s not technically minded but now she’s got to grips with it I think she’s happy, it also has a good safety feature for her as the rings go off after a short time with nothing on them so no chance of her forgetting to switch them off. It will never be used to its full potential but looks like it has loads of useful features."

"Overall I have been delighted with this cooker It looks great and works well. However, I chose this cooker as I thought it was knob controlled. Unfortunately only the ovens are controlled by the knobs, the hob is all touch controls. This is a disadvantage for me as I am visually impaired. However, the bleeps given by the controls help me a lot and I suspect this type of control will be preferred by most folk anyway. My only real gripe is that the oven door seems rather low, it is easy to hit your foot when you open it; it is also rather sharp and on one occasion cut the top of my foot. "

"Really pleased with our purchase. The hob is really quick and responsive and the fan oven cooks evenly and quickly. Easy to use and looks lovely in our kitchen. "

"After a month the scores are in: 5/5 for the hob, the tech works brilliantly and as suggested. Pleased we made the switch to induction. Grill 4/5 - despite the excellent temperature control the unbelievable grill pan is smaller than the one in my 55cm oven - which this replaced. A bit tight Hotpoint! Finally the real disappointment the Hotpoint oven can take ages (20 min) to get to temperature. Didn’t expect at and this, given the price, was very disappointing. Style and fit a good and ability to clean excellent, rounding off the 4/5 cooker. This is our first Hotpoint."
