"Hotpoint HDM67G9C2CX/U Dual fuel cooker - BEWARE!!!!! The burner stands are slippery and my pots and pans kept sliding off the cooker while cooking, for safety reasons I had to return the cooker. Also note that the grill door has to be opened to use the grill (not stated in the Hotpoint manual) so if you have a tiny kitchen, think twice before purchasing. Best practice inspect appliances, undertake due diligence research and read reviews before committing to purchases in the future. "

"The glass cover would be better if it was smoked and darker. "
"Really like the cooker. It's my first dual fuel cooker so was a bit concerned how I would cope with an electric oven and grill, however both are excellent, heat up quickly and cook things perfectly. Both the bottom and tops ovens have plenty of space. The gas hob is great also, and the hob and grills are easy to clean. Overall the look is stylish and the build quality is great.
Things that could be better
- although they look fine, the knobs are plastic and feel a bit cheap, I'd pay a bit more for more solid knobs
- the increments of temperature on the oven knobs could be more granular or have markings between the temperature settings to save guessing.
- the cooker has a digital display but it's only used for the time (who needs the time on a cooker?) and the timer. Why not put a thermometer in and have an oven temperature display here?
- The handle for the grill pan is all metal, it gets hot, it can also fall off as you push the grill in and out a better grill handle would be good.
However for the price and overall quality of the cooker I wouldn't worry about the detractions above and would wholeheartedly recommend. Love it.

"Great cooker and oven. I particularly like that the grill is of a decent size"

"Good cooker for the price. I would warn potential buyers that the wok ring is quite powerful, but it great for flash frying steak."
