Great Piece of kitchen Equipment.

"Excellent piece of equipment. I haven't used certain aspects of it yet but so far I'm really pleased with it. I like the ease of operation ...I was able to get the general idea of how to operate some of it without even referring to the instruction book. Its very simple to operate. Would recommend ?? "

KitchenAid Microwave

"After looking at so many microwaves in the market I settled for this one because it’s looks nice on the outside and inside. It’s well built. So far I haven’t used all the functions but for microwave and defrost function which I have used it’s the best. I have cooked pizza from supermarket at it comes out perfect crisp at the bottom and nicely cooked at the top. So far not negative."

Good but not perfect

"Looks great and feels really solid.

The range of cooking functions/options is excellent and the crisping tray is a revelation, reducing things like gammon and breaded fish to less than ten minutes cooking time with near perfect results.

Unable to give a five star rating due to two negative issues:-

1) The door opens down, from the top which is very useful but the confirmation switch lies directly below the handle in the centre. It means that when you go to lift the door back up to close position, it is very easy to catch the switch. This can lead to settings being cancelled if the door has been opened midway through a cycle to add/stir food.

Important to always pull/lift the door handle from the side so as to avoid the above problem but this is not the natural way to operate the door.

2) Due to the partial tinting of the glass on the door you cannot get a decent view of items inside if they sitting more than halfway up the interior area.

A good example would be a deep bowl cooking something like porridge - the first you know that it's been overheated is when you open the door and find it has bubbled over the top rather than being able to keep an eye on it whilst cooking/heating. "
