"We had our TV a couple of weeks ago and only just had managed to get it professionally wall mounted since AO don't mount TVs above a fireplace (which is a shame as ours is a non-working fireplace). That said, we couldn't be happier with the TV! We've upgraded from a 2009 40" Samsung and the picture is simply incredible. Our daughter stands in front of it and seems to think she's 'inside' what she's watching. HD quality is excellent, and 4K is mesmerising!
The sound quality isn't as bad as I expected after reading other reviews. It simply sounds like a 'normal tv'. However, we chose to add a Samsung sound bar and the sound is noticeably fuller and richer. Having control over the sub woofer level is a must (especially after little ones have gone to bed) without detracting from the high quality sound. Our sound bar is Bluetooth and although this is convenient, there is some lag in the sound occasionally which makes the audio slightly out of sync but it usually improves after about 10 seconds. However, both the TV have an optical connection (cable not supplied though) and so we now have one on order which undoubtedly will solve this issue. One other plus point with the TV is that the AC cord is nice and long (great for wall mounting), however the sound bar was a disappointing 1.5 meters and so we've had to purchase another cable for £15. This coupled with the addition of the optical cable has added an extra £26 to the cost. Not a big deal but worth noting if you're on a super tight budget."
