"Upgraded from a 40" Samsung to this 65" AU9000 model. I thought I'd made a mistake as it was soooo big. Everyone looked worried at the size of it. However, after a day I can't imagine downsizing and the 40" seems like a portable :)
I won't go into the technical details too much as there's plenty of other places to get that info. The basics you need to know are the TV is really easy to set up, almost automatic with some simple answers to provide and internet details.
Remotes all connected to SKY etc seamlessly and the image quality is great. This is not a top end model, more of a mid range but there are some nice features and a good mode if you're connecting a PC at 1080p where you can run it at 120HZ rather than the otherwise default of 60HZ. Not essential but means you aren't capped at 60fps when running at 1080p. Above that resolution though you will be stuck at 60HZ (which is not terrible!) as there's no HDMI 2.1 to allow the higher frequencies.
Anyway, overall works as advertised, looks great and doesn't break the bank. Great TV for family movie nights as well!

P.S - AO were amazing. I got a phone call once I'd ordered to confirm it was all okay, then an email as promised talking about the delivery time slots. I then got another email as promised on the day of delivery and a narrowed down time frame. Then the driver rang to say he was ten mins away and they carried the TV in for me. Faultless."

"This was my first Samsung tv and I must admit it is fantastic. The interface is easy to use and it doesn’t lag. Easy to set up by my phone, I think it took me 30mins to get it out the box and set up and working. However I struggled to alter the order of the apps but after a quick google I got it sussed.
One thing that does annoy me is that it doesn’t have a headphone jack, therefore leaving my old Bose surround sound speakers redundant. (Although I have seen a nice Samsung sound bar on AO I want). But with that said the sound quality isn’t bad however it’s not surround sound quality I’m used to.
Overall a great TV with a fantastic picture quality and especially for the price compared to others. "
"With plastic bezel and silly feet covered in a plastic trim to make it look like proper stand this tv is not really a true samsung 9000.
However, at 700 quid it is an absolute bargain.
The picture is incredible, good colour, not over saturated with good detail on darker scenes.
Menu/tv guide is quick and smart remote is great.
Sound is decent enough but better with soundbar imo.
Bargain.
