"Although this was not our first choice for TV's within this criteria, we are pleasantly surprised by this one. it has plenty of connections via HDMI, the TV connects to the WiFi great, and we can project our smartphones to the TV with no problems at all, although the initial setup took about 5-10 minutes to figure out (however, after this, you basically never have to do it again, so it's more or less instant). If you're hooking this TV up to a PC, it is actually capable of 120FPS, which was unexpected but also quite nice to have, but this Frame Rate is customiseable within the Game Mode Menu on the TV itself. And for those of you that remember the old TV's that were like massive cubes, this TV has an animation whenever you turn it On or Off that mimics these older TVs, which, where not really necessary or helpful, did make us feel a bit nostalgic from when we were kids. It's also worth mentioning that this thing comes with 2 remotes, a standard AAA battery powered remote, and another remote that you can charge via the Solar Panel on the back, or via USB-C. We really like this second controller, as it eliminates the need for AAA batteries entirely. Just leave the remote upside down on the windowsill and it charges up while you're not using it. I cannot comment on the life of a charge, as we have only had the tv for about a week, but we do know that the TV does warn you when the remote starts getting low on power. It was ready to go out of the packet. Only charged it once since then and haven't had a low power warning since. The picture itself is very good, we are very happy with the colours, they are not wishy-washy at all. In fact, I'd say they are very crisp, and well defined, whether you're streaming from a mobile device, playing a game, or watching something on the airwaves, it looks and feels very consistent across the board. You can choose to adjust the picture settings and the backlighting to your preference, or you can choose to let the TV adjust it automatically.
The downsides I would say are that the menu is a little bit strange where for whatever reason, it starts off from the right, and you have to keep scrolling left to find what you need. However, even this is customiseable, so you can change the order of the items on the settings bar. Also opening the menu sometimes stops any sound coming from whatever you have playing on the TV at the time. It takes up around the entire bottom half of the screen, too. So it can be a little bit invasive. In addition to this, this TV does chuck out a fair bit of heat, which may go appreciated in the up and coming Winter. Jokes aside, it's no blast furnace, but it is going to get quite warm.
Overall, we are very happy with this thing. It does everything we want it to do, and it does those things very well, too. Although it wasn't our first choice, if we went back with todays knowledge of this thing, I'm 99.9% sure we'd pick this one instead."
