You want an honest review, here goes.
Positives....
This Freezer is beautifully made, nice to look at. Has a very long cable which comes from out of the top of the Freezer. So depending where your plug sockets are, beware of this.
Wonderful to finally have a Frost Free Freezer. The 3 shelf's in the top are a step up from the conventional Freezers on the market. The drawers slide in and out with ease. Cool to touch, my last Freezer felt rather hot to touch, hence for my new purchase. Nice big handle, extremely easy to open the door. I like it very much. Would I recommend it to others, yes indeed I would. (Hey any excuse to go food shopping or bulk batch meals for future days) Plenty of room in this freezer to do so..
Now for the negative...
I thought that having an Ice-dispenser would be great. But who ever engineered it, really didn't think it out. The booklet that comes with the appliance doesn't really help much.
Only takes a tiny amount of water to fill the ice-tray. When you want ice for a refreshing drink, you have to lift the long dish/shelf under the ice-dispenser then drop it towards you. Then push it back into place before shutting the door. (If I was able to upload a video & pictures it would be easier to understand) Now the problem is, many family members have made the mistake by forgetting to push the dish/shelf back up before closing the door. I hope it never gets broken with regular usage.
The Slimline Ice-dispenser is more of a gimmick than essential. So my husband says. (Roll eyes) He doesn't appear to like it that he now only gets small ice-cubes comparison to a ice-tray. So I've filled ice-trays up for him & placed on the top shelf especially for him. (No this isn't a blog) (smile face)
I hope this has helped all you people looking to upgrade your Freezer.

"After appearing to be slow to reach operating temperature which was clarified by Samsung - "nothing to worry about" - the Freezer soon after got to operating temperature and proved to be very quiet. It easily coped with the storage of all the items from the large freezer which it replaced.
