"Pretty damned impressed!!
Our old LG was walking across the floor by two feet every use and never seemed to wash or rinse properly. It was only an 8kg drum and I couldn't keep up with 5 adults washing whilst also working. We also have an american 'Haier' Fridge Freezer, and a 'Haier' Drinks Fridge and these have both been very good - no problems with them, so we thought we'd try a 'Haier' Washing Machine.
So I treated myself to this 12kg machine. I'm 52 and computer savvy. I didn't bother reading instructions, switched it on and played with it until I found the 2 programs I always use - 60 degree cotton wash for dirty workgear & towels and 40 degree for t-shirts, shirts and underwear.
Twist the dial to move through different programs and press touch-sensitive buttons to adjust temps/spin speed etc. You can just keep pressing buttons until you find what settings you like - you can't do any damage - just don't press the arrow start button! I figured it all out and had a wash on in 20 minutes.
EVEN FOUND OUT HOW TO TURN THE DRUM LIGHT ON (WHILE WASHING), YOU GIVE THE BIG DIAL A TWIST (EITHER WAY) AND THE DRUM LIGHT STAYS ON FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES - this way you can see how your wash is doing.
I love it! It's fast, very quiet, doesn't wobble about and takes a huge load - my 60 degree, 3/4 full drum takes 1hr 40 mins. It fits 2 of my old loads in it in one go. The rinse is a proper rinse with plenty of water. My boys dirty white socks come out very clean. The spin is super quiet and the clothes come out very dry - a little creased I thought at first, but i pressed the steam button and this action happened at the end of the wash and took some creases out. Could easily sleep with this on while its shut away in the utility room.
I would 100% recommend. Just wish I bought it sooner!

"This was a replacement for one that was bought from elsewhere and their installers wrecked.
It is brilliant; I couldn’t understand why a washing machine had a light in the drum when reading the specifications - now I know, it’s so that at a glance you can see it’s running as it’s so quiet you find yourself checking it’s on! I’ve had it a week now and I’m so impressed, even the opening for the machine is as big as it needs to be - so often they have a big door which hides a tiny opening to get the washing in and out.

"Excellent washing machine, very quiet, lots of selectable options and produces great results every time. Love the fold-up flap for when using liquid or powder detergents. The drum light is a nice touch, as is the 5 year warranty. Massive drum - should easily handle my king size duvet. AO's delivery team were superb too. I also bought the matching 9kg tumble dryer."

"Excellent machine, so quiet that the coffee maker is louder. The noisiest part is water swishing in the drum or gurgling in the outlet!
Great programming, takes a little getting used to but you only need to read the user guide properly.
Downside? The capacity varies according to programme so is not always the advertised 12 kg, but the extra large drum does mean a thorough wash."

"Disappointed with this washing machine which was bought to replace a Samsung which broke down after 7 years of almost daily use. I have no idea why this machine has a black tinted door which looked almost clear in some of the photos (which is why I went ahead and purchased it). It's so annoying not to be able to see what's in the washing machine and is not very attractive. The controls are more complicated to use than the Samsung, and I have noticed the washing is more creased when it comes out. As this is a top of the range Haier machine I was surprised to find it doesn't have a cycle to thouroughly clean the washing machine itself, which was something that my Samsung had. Unfortunately Samsung no longer make the 12kg machine which is why I bought this one. "

"Very sturdy machine, washes clothes beautifully and only used the correct amount of water depending on the weight of the load. Super quiet , I didn’t even realise it was on at first. Easy to use and looks aesthetically pleasing too. Great product . "
