Small and sturdy

"Compact, quiet and efficient. Good sturdy product. Like having the handles at the side of the lid and the lights on a panel at the back rather than on the front.Very pleased with purchase. Only improvement would have been a light inside. "

Good family freezer useful in a small space

"Highly efficient freezer at a very reasonable price which has plenty of space for the family food even though it’s small enough to fit in a limited space. The internal basket is extremely useful as you can keep your supply of frozen vegetables easily to hand. "

Decent, but could be better

"Overall a very nice compact chest freezer, with a few little oversights.

For its size, the capacity is great & it's simple to use. The controls being on the top behind the lid make a big difference because there's no risk of knocking them with your foot or carrier bags & accidentally changing the temperature. The lid itself opens smoothly & has soft stops to hold it in place. It includes a small (half width) basket which is basic but not bad; holes in the grid perhaps a little large. The door seals are very good, with thick rubber, and the inside of the door fits down into the top of the compartment which provides a bit of extra insulation. The compressor & reservoir are at the bottom rear of the unit so there's a step on the inside to allow space for them, & the interior is covered with aluminium (which does seem to frost up more than plastic but also provides more even cooling).

As for the downsides, there's no thermometer to show you the temperature so I had to get a third party one & hang it in the basket. The underside of the edges of the case are extremely sharp, so don't go putting your hands anywhere near that when moving unless you have a pair of heavy duty gloves on (though the rest of the unit is finished very nicely). There's also no way to drain it when defrosting, when some kind of stoppered outlet would have been a nice extra. The omission seems common for chest freezers though.

In terms of efficiency it's very good, using a little power every so often when needed but with no runaway compressor action that constantly draws power, & it's quiet in operation too.

Overall I'm happy with it & expect it to last for a long time."
