"The best quality by far is the power which thaws deeply frozen food from the freezer in a couple of 5 minute sessions. The warning beeps at the end of the cycle are at just the right level to be audible out of the kitchen but not annoying close up. It does need a non slip undersheet to keep it firmly located, otherwise it does slip if nudged"
