"Gradually getting to know which programmes work and which don’t. Although I had the machine connected for me it wasn’t until it had moved around the kitchen of its own accord a few times that I realised part of the problem was it wasn’t level. After adjusting the feet to make the machine level it worked a bit better. Shorter programmes don’t seem to work all that well, sometimes the clothes are still soaking wet and soapy and need rinsed and put on to spin which defeats the purpose of the shorter wash. So far not that impressed but I’ll persevere and review my judgement in a few weeks time. Don’t have confidence when I put the machine on that it is going to do what it should be doing or that it will still be in the same position as it started in, one time it moved out about 4 inches from its original slot. The only thing I like about the machine so far is it’s got a good big door for loading and unloading and I like being able to see the countdown until the programme ends."

"Ticked all the boxes for what we wanted and dies what it says on the tin. The only thing I'd change woukd be the icons for words I have to keep checking in the instructions which cycle to put on but I guess it will be easier the more I do it."

"Was looking for a washer, dryer for less than £500 and this Candy seemed to tick the boxes I want. 10kg drum and low energy rating. Especially for drying. So after much research, this machine had the best energy rating for both. In fact this Candy has a better energy rating combined than most expensive and more reputable manufacturers. Which to me seems slightly strange.
Positives: large drum capacity, very quiet when spinning, easy to use, cheaper to run, lots of settings to choose from, clothes come out very clean and super dry.. not damp at all.
Negatives: Main reason I've given this washer, dryer 4 stars.. cheap look and fixings. The door hinge for example is plastic. In my opinion, the entire machine does look cheap and in design too. There's a lot of plastic going on.
Overall I'm very pleased with the washer, dryer and don't think you'll get much better for the price. Washes and dries everything well, even with a full load. A full load will dry in 2 hours. Haven't tried the WiFi. Reviews I've read seem poor in regards to the WiFi actually working. Im sure it was purely added by Candy as a selling point to people who care about this type of added technology. Personally I can't see the point.
Just remember it's a Candy not a Miele you're paying for. "

"Had this for a week so far and I'm so glad we brought it. Works lovely and with all the baby clothes we are washing lately, definitely doing its job nicely. I have knocked a star off as the WiFi feature we can't set up. I have read it is to do with being on the wrong bandwidth so it won't connect (we are on 5ghz rather than 2.4 or 2.6ghz. It's too much faff to change our modern when everything is our house works perfectly!) Aside from that, it works perfectly. We put ours on at night for wash and dry and by the morning all our clothes are done. No need to worry where we are going to hang them or putting them on with plenty of time to dry! Side note: make sure you either use powder or pods for wash and dry as you will have to fish out the cap for the gel detergents before you dry. "
