"This fridge freezer was delivered on the 6th December 2021 and, at first it worked fine. It's now 24th June and the fridge isn't working, the engineer has just been and said he can't fix it I have to turn the whole unit off so it can defrost because ice has blocked the vent for the cold air, bare in mind it's a - TOTAL frost free fridge freezer. Hotpoint customer service was a joke they apparently can't replace it because it's broken, what ever you DO NOT by this. Hotpoint used to be an excellent company but not now. "
"Very disappointed with this Hotpoint fridge freezer, it was never great from the start, quite noisy operation, although the noise level was clear on the product info, it was louder than expected. It regularly varied in temperature range in the fridge compartment and despite their being a temperature selection display on the front, this is not the actual temperature in the fridge! Apparently it’s a “target” temperature according to the instructions. So set at 5 degrees on the display but 7 or 8 inside. Unfortunately within 1 year it overheated (auto defrost function) causing a small fire in the freezer compartment cladding! Have now replaced with a Bosch Serie 4 fridge freezer which is a much nicer product and seems better engineered, thanks AO for your help with the replacement. "
"It’s big, I knew how big because I measured it. What I didn’t really think about was getting it in the house. My house isn’t really small standard doors etc but it was a squeeze. On a negative side it could do with wheels on the back and the plastic is under the panels and difficult to remove. "

"Excellent purchase. Delivered quickly. We paid to have the old appliance taken away with all the packing. Very pleased with it and it is much quieter than our old one. Have used AO several times and they are generally cheaper and far more friendly!"
