"My wife and I decided to upgrade from our standard fridge freezer to this LG American style and I am so happy with the decision.
This LG fridge freezer is very spacious and well laid out. It can easily fit a full weeks shop. Unpacking and putting the food shopping away is so much easier now. Because of the layout I can see everything. No more having to take things out of the fridge to find what I need. Also no more worries about good air circulation in an overfilled smaller fridge freezer.
It's so quiet compared to our previous fridge freezer. It is virtually soundless (except for when it's making ice). The ambience of our kitchen diner is so much nicer without the clicks, clacks and whines of our old fridge.
It looks fantastic in the black brushed steel finish. It's greatly improved the whole look of our kitchen.
Controls are clear and easy to use. I can't wait to download the app and test out the Wi Fi feature.
Love the water cooler and ice maker. So easy just fill the reservoir with spring water. No need to plumb in. I am dreaming of summer days sitting in my deck chair with tinkling ice in my cool drink, heaven.
The 10 year warranty on the compressor is great for peace of mind.
This LG fridge freezer is stylish, has a quality feel and does it's job brilliantly. Would recommend it to friends and family.
One tip this is a large heavy item. I recommend that you measure door widths and narrow places to make sure there's enough clearance to get it into the desired position.

"Well. Where do I start. Had to wait a while for fridge freezer to arrive. On delivery day the delivery men were really friendly and helpful and managed to squeeze through doors. The fridge freezer has a sleek black matt steel finish. 601 litre capacity so plenty of space for your groceries. It comes with WIFI connection and app ThinQ to monitor fridge.The amazing thing is just how quiet it is! Also has really cool feature to make ice cubes,crushed ice and cool water. Can't fault this fridge apart from doors open from bottom and not the top."

"What a wonderful looking fridge/freezer. I was a little worried about getting the fridge/freezer into its new home, but delivery went smoothly and the fridge fitted through my back door straight into where I wanted it siting. With always having a separate fridge and freezer in the past, I was slightly concerned this was not going to have enough room inside for my needs, but I need not have worried. The fridge is like a tardis, and I still have not managed to fill it yet. The space inside the freezer is also fine. I love love love having an ice maker, something I have always wanted, and even better that it did not need plumbing in, just a tank in the fridge section that you pour the water into. It also dispenses cooled water and crushed ice, ideal for cocktails! A nice clear display on the front of the fridge lets you see what temperature you have the fridge and freezer set at. There is also a 'door open' alert and a button lock to stop little fingers pressing them. The drawers inside are labelled giving you a good guide to where is the best area for different food types and the top shelf is large enough to accommodate a 2 litre bottle of milk, very handy. There is fantastic lighting in both the fridge and the freezer making it easy to see everything in there, and it just makes it look so fresh and clean inside. You can also change the fridge temperature via an online app if you feel so inclined as you can connect your fridge/freezer to your home wifi. The fridge/freezer is also very quiet when it is on. It looks utterly splendid in my utility room, the only drawback is it looks that good, everything else now looks dated. "

"Prior to delivery of the fridge freezer I was apprehensive whether it would fit through the door. The doors needed to be removed to enable the delivery men to manoeuvre it into the kitchen. The appliance handily has wheels which was very convenient for testing out whereabouts I wanted it to go. It will also be fantastic for moving it to clean underneath (or search for lost children’s toys I imagine!)
The set up was so simple and the ice/water dispenser is straightforward to use! My 7 year old particularly enjoys making iced drinks for the whole family now! I was surprised at how user friendly it is.
The digital display to the front allows you to see the temperature of the fridge freezer at a glance which is handy.
There is so much room inside, which allows me to do a ‘big’ shop without the worry of how I’m going to fit it in. It is easy to organise things because of the amount of shelves. The fruit and veg drawers within the fridge enable me to keep the fruit and veg extra fresh. This has been a god send this year as I have been trying to cut down my frequency of food shops without the compromise of fresh food.
If one of the doors is left open then it makes a noise to alert you. This is a lovely feature when you have children or other forgetful family members.
Finally, we have upgraded to this fridge from a standard sized fridge freezer as I saw my brothers American Fridge freezer and developed serious fridge envy. My brother is now jealous of the crushed ice feature on mine as his doesn’t have this. I honestly can’t fault the product in anyway. It looks so stylish in my kitchen and matches my other black appliances, it is quiet, roomy and has certainly got me drinking more water.

"The fridge took quite a while to get delivered but when it finally arrived, we fell in love (after the initial scare that it might not fit through the front door -- it did but it was very tight!). It came well packed in a massive box and the colour and finish on the outside is very nice. Almost black but not quite, more like a dark grey. It looks good from the outside but it is absolutely fantastic on the inside. So so so much space in there. I think this is the biggest American fridge freezer I have seen outside of the US. Our previous fridge was pretty small compared to this one. There is a wide variety of shelves and drawers throughout both the fridge and freezer parts. The ice maker and water tank take up some space but still leave plenty for your food. It makes it very easy to keep things organise as you can see very well what is on each shelf/in each drawer, especially in the freezer part as standard freezer make it hard to see what you have in there. I also like that the shelves on the fridge door are quite deep and fit much more than expected. My favourite bit is the salad drawer as that keeps fresh produce crisp and fresh for much longer than I am used to - perfect for our weekly fruit & veg boxes. I have also tried the wifi function but although it is nice to be able to set things up remotely, it isn't so essential for a fridge as for some other appliances. The set up was really easy though. All in all, an excellent fridge that has been designed very well inside with practical day to day use in mind. Can recommend to all foodies like us. "
