"After lots of comparison looking for a washer dryer to replace my dying washing machine, I was struggling to find one that was of a large load capacity, was reliable with positive reviews in general in lots of places and was also going to be really quiet (I live in an open plan and my sofa is about 2/3 meters from the machine)
I originally decided to go with a slightly larger capacity than this hotpoint which seemed really good value only then to notice it would be louder than I wanted, so after searching a lot more products, sites and reviews I decided to go with this LG which pretty much ticked all the boxes and I am impressed with it in lots of areas, it is very quiet and was straightforward to install with clear instructions and a tool to adjust the feet.
I did the original machine clean the way the instructions stated and then for my first time using the washer dryer in one I decided to put some towels in... on some settings the machine tells you an approximate time straight away and on others it needs to weigh whats in the drum at the start and decided which is good and I am impressed with the fact all the settings are adjustable on the touch screen plus there are lots more you can choose to download into the download slot via the LG app.
In my first experience with the towels they went on a long cotton wash with a steam and then a full heat long dry and they cam out hot and soft but smelling burnt so after that I realised I could adjust the heat settings as well and since then all has been good you can also download a shorter drying time to use at the different heat settings. Over all I'm really pleased with the machine and its a world away from the old one I had where pretty much everything went in at delicates for a 40/50min wash, this machine has so many useable options including a 14 minute wash or 39minute turbo wash.
I don't usually leave reviews but I decided to on this occasion, I'm still getting use to the machine as there are so many options and I've been testing them all as I can but so far I am satisfied I made a good choice and if you choose this machine and give yourself a short period of time to understand all the fun options you can have with it then I'm sure you will be happy as well.
This is great for open plan living as it is so quiet and does make some extra noise on the turbo wash or spin but not enough to bother you or interrupted a conversation."

"Great LG washer dryer. Love the capacity size of the drum for washing and drying, the speedy programmes, the quiet volume compared to our old machine, the little tune it plays when it's finished. Love everything about it really. It also looks great in our kitchen too. "

"I’ve not tried all the programmes yet (and, let’s face it, most of us stick to just a few) but the dry only is superb and way better than other similar products I’ve used. For this alone, I would thoroughly recommend the product. "
