The product (LG V9 FWV917BTSE Wifi Connected 10.5Kg / 7Kg Washer Dryer with 1400 rpm - Black) is amazing! Super quiet, great features! I haven't had time to connect it on the LG app yet but first impressions are that this washer / dryer is excellent. I've normally always brought cheaper £2-£400 washers, so buying this was a big leap for me but I would (and have) recommended spending that bit more. It looks smart and even has a chirpy little chime when it finishes its cycle (Or as my wife says..."At least someone in this household sounds happy about doing the washing". The only down side is the rubber feet, they are excellent at securing the machine but made it very difficult to "slide" under the counter even on large smooth floor tiles. All other aspects of installation were fairly standard, I personally had no other issues. The catch at the bottom seems to have a waste pipe so should make it easier when emptying (My old machine didnt and I use to get water everywhere when empty the catch) so looking forward to that feature. The machine also has childlock! I have two children one of which is a toddler ...the child lock is a truly great feature. On our old machine our son would walk in and play with the dial / settings but once the child lock is on then it doesnt matter what he touches it won't change any of the settings / wash functions.
Delivery:
Delivery was easy to arrange and fairly quick, my only comment is I wish the delivery drivers wore shoe protectors. When dropping my delivery off it was raining and they trailed muddy foot prints through my living room on my cream carpet.
Recycling scheme:
I opted for the recycling scheme and they said on the day they couldn't take my old machine as I was the second drop and so they didn't have room on the van. They said they would re-arrange within an hour later, 1 week later my old machine is still on my driveway awaiting collection.
Pros: really quiet, great features, smart settings, sleek design, child lock, the rubber feet, the catch waste pipe.
Cons: Price, the rubber feet, no other issues found at this time. "
