"Ok, let's get a reality check here.
Bought our FWV917BTSE in October 2020 after the last LG machine starting banging about.
This newer model seems like a downgrade to me yet at nearly nine hundred pounds is missing features that should be included:
1) No rinse hold? Come on, that's been around since the dark ages!
So now if I put a washing cycle on while I'm out - and come back everything is creased up. A complete waste of time. So I hear some of you say, why don't you use the Steam Function to remove the creases - to which I say, ok, so I then have to wait another 40 minutes, yes 40 minutes for a Steam cycle refresh which is equivalent to another Turbo 39 wash cycle, just to get my washing crease free - so that takes twice as long - I don't think so.
2) Next Leaks! This has leaked more times than it has washed. The seal for the main door is not sufficient for the job. It seems that water runs down the bottom centre of the door and soaks the floor. Other times it doesn't so not happy about it and never had such an issue with a washer before. This is poor quality from LG.
3) Noise - horrendous noise on spinning. I spend a lot of time stopping the machine, opening up the door and re-balancing the clothes (and lets be clear it is not over loaded) to avoid the shaking and noise vibration - and yes, the feet have been adjusted and it is balanced.
4) Spin only cycle - no, another programme not included - until you download it.
5) Duvet Cycle? No - again another programme you have to download.
6) Downloading - so given that half the useful programmes I need are downloadable only - and given that you can only have one downloaded programme on the machine at a time - I have to constantly download the same programmes over and over and keep overwriting them to use the machine. A total waste of time.
So overall I have zero confidence in this 'latest' product as I no longer feel I can go out and leave it on a timed cycle in case it decides to catch some item in the seal and I come home to a flooded kitchen floor. I didn't anticipate having to babysit a brand new expensive washer drier either.
This will be the third LG washer Drier we have had and the worst I'm sorry to say, so will likely be the last."

"Well wasn’t sure about buying a washer dryer,never thought they were very effective and the washer dryer ratio was poor.
And then I looked at the LG 10.5/7kg washer dryer with inverter direct drive and though give it a go.
A little more expensive but get what you pay for .. this machine coping very well with multiple wash loads and dryer when used is great.
Clothes actually come out dry !
Love the way the way goes down the drain instead of dryer having to be vented or as a condenser .
Steam function, quick wash programmes that start at 14 minutes and go to 24 if you change to 40 and 1200 spin.
Quiet whilst washing.
Looks very smart.
Can use remotely with wifi if wanted but not used yet.
Only thing is the spin shaking the room but we probably need to readjust the feet but small price to pay for an excellent machine ."

"Really good washer dryer. Good variety of programmes and the fact that it assesses each load means it keeps water/electricity and time of wash to the most economical. Same with the drying programme. Easy to use and looks very smart in a modern kitchen. I’m a sucker for a gadget so love the WiFi connectivity - it’s actually really good to be able to see in the app how long is left and get a notification on my phone (and watch) when a programme is complete"
