"We decided to purchase this LG washing machine after our Hotpoint finally gave up the ghost after 16 years. Reading all the positive reviews on the AO website and receiving recommendations from family members who’d bought LG machines was enough for us to order this machine. The machine has a very sleek, premium feel to it. The controls are simple and well set out, with the added benefit of being able to use the ThinQ app to download more programmes. We have generally used the Cotton cycle so far which is a much quicker than the old machine, which is advantageous when constantly washing kids clothes.
Another useful feature of the app is the notifications you receive when the machine finishes, handy if you’ve got other things to be getting on with around the home and a lot of loads to get through. We have it set up to Alexa to.
The machine is reasonably quiet although it can be heard on full spin, nothing too intrusive though. We have had this washing machine for a week now and it has not stopped.
Very easy to get to grips with and a vast improvement on the last one.
This was a little more than I had budgeted for but it’s such a workhorse in our house I thought it would be a good investment. I am very happy with my purchase and we are now considering the LG tumble dryer to go with the washing machine.

"Got this machine to replace an ageing 10 year + washing machine that whilst functional had seen better days. There are plenty of options to find a wash that is suitable for use, including some very fast washes, we regularly use the quick wash which is done in around 40 minutes, and the clothes come out clean and fresh smelling. There are other programs for other wash options, and with the LG App you're able to download new programs to the washing machine and use those at any time. A good feature is since the machine is connected to your phone you're able to get notifications when your wash cycle is complete (or due to complete). The only slight negative point is that I find the machine louder than the old machine, and this one is supposed to be quiet, but my no means is this a deal breaker. "

Wow what a machine
Hi I never thought that I would be so happy about a washing machine. When I was asked to take part in the trial I was so pleased, I needed a new machine that was more accessible for me as im now in a wheelchair and finding out that kitchens and appliances are a nightmare. I couldn't have had this chance at any better time. So here goes, When I placed the order it was very happy that I informed my friends about it and they all thought that I had been drinking!!. Many said that I needed to get a life or a hobby!!. Oh how they have changed their minds now. When it arrived I couldn't get the machine plumed in for a few days so i thought, it actually turned into over a week, and a well nagged husband in the process. Again every day my friends and family asked me as a joke was my new machine ready to use?? And every day I got more and more stroppy!! My daughter informed me that I was behaving like my 4yr old granddaughter throwing a strop!!. Well after a week it was ready, OMG it looks stunning. I thought it would be huge due to the info received, Wrong the only difference in the way of the new one is it's slightly deeper thats it. Well then it's time for me to play. I was so excited. The large door made it a lot easier to get the clothes in and out for me as I could reach further in 1st tick so my wheelchair could get closer at last I could be a wifey again and do the washing 2nd tick. I know that sounds sad but for me it's one part of normal life that I could get back too. So here we go time to use, easy to find out how to use the press buttons are so accessible another plus point for me as to use. The 1st time I used the machine I didn't use my phone as I wanted to use it the "normal way" . The area to put the fabric conditioner etc just slid out nice sizes of compartments, right so this part done 3rd tick. Now lets get this new toy working! Ironically the 1st item to go in was my duvet as the night before I fell asleep holding a cup of coffee! So kingsize going in. No issues with having to ram it in, push the door shut and then when it span the old machine sounded like it was taking off NOPE, loads of room, closed the door nicely and no ramming 4th tick. Time to start it, this is the bit I was worried about. Why?? So simple it even picked out what spin it should be on, so away it went it's so quiet I was waiting for the mega spin noise. Tick 5 it was so quiet I missed it. Gutted. Then how heavy would it be nope easy to get out and so well spun Tick 6 wow

It has a varity of programmes which is amazing. We are all very happy and would definetly recommend to buy this product. I will now be considering buying other LG products the design s slick and the notification on the phone are amazing."
"This is definitely the best washing machine I have used. First impression was that it looked very modern with the flat glass front and had a large drum without compromising on the size of the whole washing machine. The machine fits perfectly in the small space I have as I do not have that much space anyway. It also looked very easy to install. Although I did pay for installation to take place as long as you have the pipes in place this should not take long for everything to be set up. Once set up, I put an empty wash at the quick wash under 40 minutes and at first I wasn't sure if it was working because the machine was so quiet but once it starts spinning and rinsing you can tell this is a very powerful machine. Since then I have tried a few more settings including the cotton wash, and you can definitely tell the difference when the clothes are washed. Firstly, the clothes felt much softer than with my previous machine using exactly the same detergent and softener. Secondly, the clothes came out pretty dry at 1400 spin. You can definitely tell the difference at the speed and power of this machine when spinning. As I don't have a tumble dryer this is definitely an important factor for me. Finally, this is a very economical machine as it takes half the time to finish a wash than compared with my previous machine. It also has a clever sensor that can auto adjust the settings to match the weight of the load in the wash, so lesser the load the shorter time required. The only small issue I have is the loud noise of the machine when towards at the end of the wash. Although slightly loud it does only last a few minutes but the results are fantastic so I cannot complain. There are so many other settings that I need to experiment with but so far this has been really positive and would highly recommend to anyone. I am also intrigued with the WiFi connection which I will try. It also comes with a 10 year warranty from LG so giving you more confidence when purchasing this machine. "
