You simply put the clothes in it weights it you choose the program thats it. You can change the spin it you if you wish. The cotton turbo is great plus 14 mins sports wash. The 1600 spin is brilliant for towels they feel nearly dry will fantasic in the winter. You can also mix different fabric and wash them together the machine sorts it. Great
