"I've only had this 3 weeks but so far am pretty happy with it.
Overall a good reliable fridge-freezer that's quiet and energy efficient. It's one of Bosche's more basic models so don't expect many frills. Freezer section may be a bit small for families.
It's important to understand the 60/40 split just refers to the doors NOT THE CAPACITY of the two sections.
The fridge has a 195L capacicity which is double the freezer's 94L. That's fine for my needs as I live alone, but if you've a family you may want a bigger freezer section.
Pros:
- Quiet.
- Low energy use compared to comparable fridge freezers in the same price range.
- One of the freezer drawers is big enough to put large items e.g. a turkey, large joints, etc.
Cons: Nothing major, but some minor things:
- It says the door is reversible. However the instruction book actually says get your supplier to do it. It would have been good to know this BEFORE it was delivered and I don't know if AO do this anyway.
Technically you CAN do it yourself but the issue is there are 4 screws that need undoing that have been machined tightened so will need a power screwdriver and they have very small non-standard hexagonal heads, similar to an alan key but an alan key doesn't work either. A flatheaded screwdriver WILL fit but needs a VERY small blade.
None of my power screwdriver heads were small enough, the only screwdriver I had which fitted was a small electrical one and although I have a strong grip it was impossible to undo by hand, so I had to leave it which is a bit annoying.
- I wrongly assumed there would be an ice-cube section like every other fridge freezer I've ever known, but there isn't.
- The Bottle section in the door doesn't have a bit to grip the bottle like my old fridge-feezer so they may topple over, although there is a (removable) wine rack you can use instead."

"Bought to replace a 10+ year old Bosch fridge, this is a joy to use. It is much quieter than the old fridge and is running at the recommended 4 degrees.
The freezer section has the capacity of the little chest freezer it replaced.
The height is fine, even if I am shorter than most people, which was a pleasant surprise.
I have a very small problem getting the remains of a sticky label off the outside but apart from that it is perfect."
