"I've been searching for a quiet fridge freezer for ages now as I have an open plan flat, and this one fits the bill pretty well. When the cooling motor kicks in, it wooshes a bit, but as it sounds a bit like a rough sea and I live by the sea, it blends into the background quite well. Unlike other fridge freezers, it doesn't make any annoying squeaking, clucking, whirring noises, which is great.
The noise level of the appliance was my biggest priority. In terms of other features, this fridge freezer has everything I need: plenty of space, good lighting, and very sensible shelf and storage arrangement. The temperature display is reassuring and unobtrusive. I've only had the appliance for 2 weeks so I can't comment on reliability, but I'm hoping that with the 5 year warranty, all will be well (Samsung were brilliantly helpful at registering the warranty)."
