"It's great that this dryer includes a drain connection so that we don't have to manually empty it. The light inside that comes on when opening the door is a great touch to see what you're doing. The filter is very easy to change. The touch-activated buttons are a bit of an unnecessary gimmick. I'd prefer normal buttons that give tactile feedback. I have no use for the wifi connection either. Who needs an app for a tumble dryer? Just another thing to go wrong and a possible vector for compromised security.
I've found that things aren't entirely dry after a completed cycle, even after 3 hours from a load that had a full spin in the washing machine. Perhaps I need to play around more with the settings, but I'd have thought it would be simpler. The machine seems to know when a load is already mostly dry as it reduces the cycle time automatically, so it should know when the load is still damp. Maybe I'm expecting too much."
