"I bought this year to replace my 17 year old Bosch machine that finally packed in (I live in a hard water area and I think my machine lasted so long due to using tablets in every wash. So far, I like this machine. It is very quiet when it washes, but not so much when on spin cycle. Easy to programme once you've worked it out. I haven't yet used the short cycle yet but hopefully it does what it says in the blurb. "
