"I spent a long time researching, reading reviews to decide on this washing machine. Have had Bosch in the past and been very happy so was already leaning to Bosch, or Meile. I ruled out anything with a dosing system as I think that will become obsolete as laundry liquids move to being super concentrated.
Positives - washing performance is excellent, very effective 30min quick wash, extremely quiet, looks great, pretty intuitive control panel. I’m hopeful it will stand up to my very high usage (2+ loads per day, more at weekends!). So it does a brilliant job at washing clothes, but….
Negatives - it’s an all singing dancing bit of kit. I haven’t used the Wi-Fi function yet and I can’t actually see how this would be helpful. I tried unsuccessfully to delay start time of the wash from the control panel but this didn’t work out (maybe I need to spend a bit more time figuring out the fancy functions!). It looks completely different from the Bosch serie 6 range (I have the serie 6 tumble dryer) so I find it a bit irritating they look so different. Standard programme are very long (2hrs plus), but you can click the time save button to reduce these.
Finally it’s a 10kg drum - I don’t fill it any more than I did my 8kg as I can help thinking this would impact performance….maybe not.. but the dryer wouldn’t handle a 10kg load so I’d have to split it up to dry which is too much hassle - although hopefully the technology will detect the load weight and use an approx amount of washer - but who knows!
Overall - on reflection I should have bought a more basic Bosch washing machine and saved some money….for a girl who mainly uses quick wash this machine is unnecessarily complicated! "

"Love this machine! Didn’t think I’d use the WiFi capability, but have found it surprisingly useful. Splurged on the larger capacity 10kg and am happy that I made that decision. The settings are straightforward and I appreciate the ability to shorten certain wash times with the SpeedPerfect function. It’s a big investment, but I don’t regret purchasing this machine one bit! Wish I had done it sooner!"
