"A bit smaller than the Norfrost one it replaced which was 15 years old and prone to icing up because the lid would no longer seal properly.
The design has moved on since our last purchase with all the freezing system built into the box; no external condenser at the back for instance though it could be argued that encroaches into the interior as to be clear, there's a step where the compressor etc. are built in so it's not a simple box-shaped freezing space.
Even so, there's plenty of space for the overflow from the kitchen for two people. Two baskets inside would have been nice rather than just the one but it's not a deal breaker for me. Crucially, the walls of the freezer are thicker than our old one which had a tendency to be cold on the outside and cause condensation in the summer, so it'll be interesting to see if this extra thickness helps stop that.
All in all, going from a B rated to A+ rated appliance should keep running costs lower. Nicely finished outside and whilst there's no counterbalanced lid, it does stay in position when you raise it. Worth considering at the price if you're in the market for a small to medium chest freezer"

"What a great freezer, its not to small and not to big. It about three quarters the size of a full size chest freezer making it perfect for my family of three. Comes with a handy basket for all those lollypops and ice pops, also there is a shelf on the inner right side to put my cartons of milk on.
It is not the quietest of freezers but to be honest its sound is about the same as a fridge.
