"When I unboxed the LG XBOOM Go PL7, I was suprised with how big it was - I guess the comparison photo didn't give much to compare to. This does make it slightly less portable - you couldn't chuck it in a bag and off you go, like you could with the smaller sizs. Having said that, it is still portable - it would just require a little bit of extra thought, especially for me, as I have a disability and it's quite heavy. Aside from the size and weight - the sound is not bad at all - I prefer it will the sound boost on, but my husband prefers it with it turned off, as he feels the sound boost isn't as clear in sound quality (he's pretty interested in audio stuff). But seeing as I can't tell, it doesn't matter to me. Now, the last thing we haven't talked about is the lights. Oh my, the lights. They won me over completely - I LOVE them! A mini disco when I have a bath (well, almost!). I take my speaker around the house with me - kitchen, lounge, bathroom, garden. I love that it will last the whole day. So... should you buy it? I like it! It's not bad value for money, the battery lasts ages - which was a big bugbear with my old speaker - the lights are brilliant, and the sound quality is good. If you are after sound quality alone, I would perhaps give this a listen to, before you hand over your cash - and also why it lost a star (but from my husband's influence). But other than that, I am not disappointed at all. Literally just as I was submitting this, I saw another review that says it has an app to change the colour of the lights - amazing, this just makes me love it even more. "

"First thoughts were that it was much heavier than expected but that means it is sturdy and deep blue which was unexpected. Love the app controlling the lights and it really has amazing sound. Really easy to connect too. We’ve had a few lockdown discos in the garden! I’m not a great techie when music is concerned but love listening to it, these speakers are great. The battery lasts for ages which makes it easy to place exactly where you want it without looking for sockets or extension leads.It’s not something that you would pack in your suitcase unless weight was not a problem but it’s a fantastic bit of kit for anywhere in or out of the house. It’s from a reliable brand and weatherproof too. We love it. "

"Wow what a speaker this little thing packs a punch. This speaker reproduces the sound splendidly the clarity of this speaker is second to non. I’m a jazz listener and this more that does the job of producing quality sounds of each instrument and in a clarity that needs to be heard for a portable Bluetooth speaker. The battery length is really good and the boost sound volume adds that punch you need for big songs. It’s great that you can also multi pair the speakers and connect two Bluetooth devices to the speaker. But they cannot be played at the same time. The battery length is also impressive 24hrs of play but this reduces significantly if you keep the boost mode on with full volume and its lights on its more like 4 to 5 hours. All in all this is a decent speaker."

"I have been using this speaker for a few weeks now and think that it is amazing. There is a noticeable difference when you have the xboom setting turned on. It has survived water being poured over it by my daughter and i have only had to charge it twice and it has had almost daily use. Absolutely amazing product at a great price. "

"The sound coming out of the speakers is excellent. The shape is very good, very streamlined. When you listen to good bass the speakers twitch and there is an option to change the colour of the lights which are at the ends of the speaker (there is an option to turn them off). The cable is the same as other new generation cables, therefore there is no need of having more cables out (having a lot of cables is very annoying :( ). If you listen to high quality music, the bass and vocal quality is amazing... The price compared to other similar products is similar. I recommend..amazing"
