"I am amazed with this speakers sound quality and well built structure, the lighting is a lovely added effect and the sound quality is second to none, i have received clear music and zero distortions. I soon worked out that an app was required to work the speaker, the app allows you to customise the sound levels and lighting to your preferred liking. I was able to check battery level status just by holding the battery button down for 2 seconds as well as checking on the app it self. This portable Bluetooth speaker speaks for itself, it looks stylish and very sturdy, it is pretty heavy for what it is but that to me is an advantage because it won't easily be knocked off a surface. It requires an AC Adapter which is not supplied, it pairs easily via Bluetooth and has playback controls as well as being hands free. I like that I can use voice command through my smart device easily also and can set the lighting to suit my mood. As an additional feature you are able to pair the speaker to multiple phones or a phone to multiple speakers, you just cant get better than that. There is also a reset button should it malfunction but I have not had to use that and hope not to. This portable Bluetooth speaker is a stunning addition to my house and I would recommend it to anyone. "

"When I unboxed the LG XBOOM Go PL7, I was suprised with how big it was - I guess the comparison photo didn't give much to compare to. This does make it slightly less portable - you couldn't chuck it in a bag and off you go, like you could with the smaller sizs. Having said that, it is still portable - it would just require a little bit of extra thought, especially for me, as I have a disability and it's quite heavy. Aside from the size and weight - the sound is not bad at all - I prefer it will the sound boost on, but my husband prefers it with it turned off, as he feels the sound boost isn't as clear in sound quality (he's pretty interested in audio stuff). But seeing as I can't tell, it doesn't matter to me. Now, the last thing we haven't talked about is the lights. Oh my, the lights. They won me over completely - I LOVE them! A mini disco when I have a bath (well, almost!). I take my speaker around the house with me - kitchen, lounge, bathroom, garden. I love that it will last the whole day. So... should you buy it? I like it! It's not bad value for money, the battery lasts ages - which was a big bugbear with my old speaker - the lights are brilliant, and the sound quality is good. If you are after sound quality alone, I would perhaps give this a listen to, before you hand over your cash - and also why it lost a star (but from my husband's influence). But other than that, I am not disappointed at all. Literally just as I was submitting this, I saw another review that says it has an app to change the colour of the lights - amazing, this just makes me love it even more. "
