Great picture, very easy to set up and use. I am using it with a soundbar but must say the TV's own speakers are really quite decent.
It is a really good size, I was a little worried it may overwhelm my lounge but it is just right.
I went for this TV in particular because of the 'Ambilight' function and was not disappointed, it really adds to the viewing experience not to mention adding a pleasant ambience to room."

"First things first, Ambilight is great, a real game changer. That's the positives out of the way.
The picture quality on this tv is embarrassing. Colour isn't bad, but the awful blacks and whites ruin any chance of a good picture. The HDR mode is horrendous; there is a white mistiness 90% of the time and when there is more than one shade of black at a time to display you can see it struggle badly. I keep saying black, however it is more of a dark grey because deep blacks simply aren't on offer here. I have spent more time playing with the settings than actually watching anything on this. Now, the settings - some genius at Philips thought it would be a great idea to take up half the screen with the menu when you are adjusting the sliders, so you cannot see the full impact that your changes are having until you close down each page of the (slow and clunky) menu.
Trying to get the sound to sync properly with Sky HD box was also a pain (change the Dolby settings on the Sky box - better yet, buy a different telly!)
Throw in shocking sound, a cheap remote, limited options (e.g. last viewed), and base settings that range from wide, to wider, this is the worst purchase I have ever made, I bought this on Black Friday and will be upgrading it in the new year because every time sit down to relax I am overcome by bitter disappointment."
