"I chose this particular Bosch dishwasher after checking reviews in Which? Magazine. I wanted a slimline model in order to avoid modifying the pipework, which was preventing a full sized machine slotting into the allocated space. It received an excellent review in 2022 and I knew from personal experience that Bosch are a good brand, in terms of build quality and reliability.
I found the machine to be a lot quieter than Which? Suggested. It is certainly quiter than our old machine of 20 years.
The machine is easy to operate, with a good choice of programs. If the WiFi connection is utilised, more programs can be loaded onto a mobile phone app to give further options. It also allows the machine to be controlled remotely and pings the phone when the program has finished. This is useful, as the machine itself does not give out an audible sound once finished. The machine will power itself off, however, after a short time period.
The middle drawer can be adjusted to allow it to be raised or lowered. This allows larger plates to be located in the bottom drawer. This will however restrict the height of any plates that are stored in the top drawer as they may interfere with the bottom of the cutlery draw which is located at the very top. I always perform a quick check to ensure that the rotating arms that are located below the middle drawer have the required clearance to be able to rotate correctly, in order to avoid poor cleaning performance.
In terms of performance, the machine cleans very well. I find that plastic containers don't dry as well as perhaps Which? stated, but when using tablets, rinse aid and salt in the machine it cleans even quite stubborn food from containers and plates and no water marks are left on plastics. One point to note is that when the app on the phone pings and tells me that my clean items can now be removed, they are still quite hot, especially metal cutlery, and steam is still present in the machine. Just something to be aware of. An automated opening door would have helped here.
I am still experimenting with the best positions to locate plates and other large items. A number of the dividers can be folded flat or at different angles to accommodate different sized items. This can be useful, especially for saucepans and roasting tins, etc. An additional sprinkler adapter can also be fitted to the machine if the middle draw is removed, which is designed for cleaning vertically placed baking trays, placed at the sides of the bottom draw. I have not tried this out as yet as you do lose the use of the second draw when using it.
Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. It cleans well but eco and auto programs are quiet long to complete. The shorter programs seem to be as effective, if one is in a hurry. I therefore recommend this dishwasher.

"I bought this after reading a Which? best buy review and very glad I did. We mainly use the eco setting although it takes over three hours.
The Which? review said it was noisy but we have an open-plan set-up between our attic bedroom and the kitchen and my husband and I both sleep through the dishwasher no problem. I was initially worried about this aspect as I'm pretty sensitive to noises but all the dishwashers had the same issue according to their reviews, so I went with this Bosch in the end. Don't let any negative noise reviews put you off.
I've not had to rewash anything so it obviously does a very good job!
AO were also great - ordering was easy and I was informed every step of the way and given a time slot for delivery. The delivery gents plumbed it in, made sure it worked and took away all the packaging."
"The dishwasher is excellent. We had an old Bosch one, and when the time for change came, we decided for the same brand. It’s fabulous. Silent, very efficient and the extra drawer for cutlery is a good development. Also, the wi-fi feature is very useful, it informs when the cycle is over. Highly recommended product."
