"I had been reviewing a number of soundbars, with subwoofer, to compliment my Samsung TV with Arc / eArc and Q-Symphony, and primarily a soundbar to play music cd's via dvd player. I decided to stick with the same make as my TV and I am so pleased I chose the HW-Q60T.
I would advise to research your own requirements and check there is the option to add additional speakers, such as rear room, which the HW-Q60T does via Bluetooth Multi Connect , it has flexibility to be further enhanced.
Set up is easy to follow with the on screen instructions and if using wired connections, (my preference for the soundbar) good quality cables are a recommended investment. The subwoofer is by wireless connection and I have not experienced any delay's or disconnecting problems at the moment.
This is a good mixed usage audio enhancement for the TV and DVD. Once I had configured the cable connections for the dvd I was very impressed with the sound quality for a music cd. I thought the subwoofer reproduced a superb bass sound and TV/Movie on the surround sound and adaptive sound settings. For my room size, a large through lounge, the sound was pretty good for movies and bass-heavy music for the seat positions. Although it doesn't support Atmos content, you must consider what you want from a sound system, and research your TV & a soundbar operating systems to compliment each other. Not enough research will only result in the wrong matching of system requirements and you might be disappointed. The HW-Q60T has lots of sound enhancement features to play with and customise to your needs, including a graphic EQ and presets.
Packaging was very good and the equipment is very well made and looks good and sturdy with the industrial mesh over the speakers.
My old surround sound speaker system has been reused elsewhere in the house as it was sadly not compatible with my TV.
Overall I am very pleased with the sound quality for TV, Movie and Music, additionally the cost and free delivery via AO was very competitive for my budget and essentially using an established retailer gives you a peace of mind.
