"So we decided to embark on a new fridge after having our old one for over 15 years and after looking around a lot; we wanted something stylish, tall, makes use of all the space, energy-efficient and something that we think is going to last us a long time. I can honestly say this fridge has all of that and more: there is so much space so that we can organise our food properly and buy exactly what we need. The metal fresh at the back is an excellent upgrade, and already I can see that the food I have bought lasts a lot longer and stays fresher. The electric panel on the front is perfect so that I can always see the temperate of the fridge; as someone who works in food, I find this to be an extremely efficient tool. The energy efficiency is fantastic and it’s an extremely quiet fridge too. This fridge is beautiful, very happy with my purchase. The reason I chose the LG at a higher price point compared to the other fridge included the Height, 203cm The 60/40 fridge freezer The energy rating A+++ others were at an A or an A+ The black matte look on the exterior rather than silver. And also the metal fresh at the back rather than the plastic back. Also the temperature controls on the front, rather than shown in an awkward unseen position. The other fridge I had in mind didn’t have half of these things included above. My only small comment I would add, would be, it would be great to have a light in the freezer, and the shelf which’s slides in to make space for larger objects doesn’t feel as robust as the other shelves, but time will tell, apart from that, it’s an excellent fridge-freezer. Also, I miss having an ice tray, which was a feature my previous freezer had, as it ensured that the water would spill, if you buy your ice, this won't be an issue or something you notice. "

"We decided to look at a new fridge freezer after moving in to our new home and having got one from another brand that the bottom drawer in the fridge would freeze our food no matter what temperature the fridge was on we came across this sleek stylish looking one from a really big brand LG and decided to go purchase it. WOW how pleased we are with it over our old fridge freezer! The fridge design has really been thought out and the way the fridge cools properly is fantastic and keeps the food chilled really well even in the drawers properly which is great as the top drawer is the salad/fruit drawer and when ever we get anything our of this it still tastes fresh and things like lettuce stay crispy how they should be the items in the drawers don’t sweat inside bags either which allows them to last longer. Also with the drawers they go all the way to the back of the fridge meaning you get the full depth of the drawer rather than some like our previous one had a big section at the back meaning we only really got half the size drawer. The sliding shelf I thought was abit of a gimmick idea however, this idea is actually fantastic as if you have any larger items you can easily slide it backwards allowing for the larger items to be able to stand up properly and this also doesn’t mean they become annoying when trying to get to items behind them. There is also plenty of room between the item and the door still allowing the door items such as milk to stay cool. The door cooling had me from the start as I love how it is vented from the top of the fridge meaning the full section of the fridge is kept cool from the top shelf down to the bottom where a lot of other fridges I have used I have noticed slightly hot spots in the door where it isn’t cooling properly. The alarm in the fridge is good as it gives you an audible tone which isn’t too high pitched either allowing you to know that you have left the door open. I downloaded the LG ThinQ app and installed the fridge freezer on it and tested it out the app was really responsive to the fridge freezer however since testing it out I have yet to use it as once the temperature is set I don’t see what else to do with it however, I think it will be good later down the line if something was to go wrong as you can easily diagnose from the app. I must also add that I was using the app on Android. Last thing with the fridge I have to say is it is nice and bright and easy to see everything on every shelf with no dark spots. "

"I’m going to start with my personal bad points first. When setting this up it beeped constantly for 1 hour 45 minutes until the right temperature was reached. The freezer drawers feel flimsy: I’m so use to pulling by an indented space at the top. These have a reinforced strip at the bottom which takes a bit of getting use to. However we do really like this fridge freezer. We used to have a 50/50 fridge freezer but decided it would be better to sacrifice the freezer space for a bigger fridge and it has been invaluable since lockdown at storing much more food then previous. Like others have said the folding shelf is a genius idea and will be perfect to allow talking objects this coming Christmas. The fridge cooling system seems to be working perfectly we haven’t had any frozen carrots or spoilt milk. I love the space in the fridge it enables the fridge to be organised better and the kids can find things much easier. Nice and quiet no rumblings like previous. Fridge. "

"Fantastic fridge freezer and the Matt black finish is lovely as it doesn’t leave finger marks. Shelves can be removed for cleaning and it’s super quiet. It’s very tall which is a real bonus. The only slight annoying thing (and it’s a very minor issue) is that it beeps if you leave the fridge door open too long, to let you know you have. Highly recommended item."

"We had our last fridge freezer for over 25 years, and it had just about broken down so we decided to opt for this new LG fridge freezer.
The first thing I realised was how much space there was. It is a 60:40 fridge freezer so there's plenty of space in the fridge but surprisingly still a lot of space in the freezer too!
The fridge has two spacious compartments which I liked and now I store all the fruit and veg in this as it has special settings for each which is amazing. It does seem to make fruit stay fresher for longer as it suggests which is a plus.
Lots of space to store in the door too, have put up to 4 2l milk bottles in the bottom shelf.
The freezer has plenty of space too. Middle shelf has the most space and I store all the frozen meat etc. in there and plenty more space in the other shelves for frozen veg etc.
Functionality wise, this is the first fridge I've seen and used that has Wi-Fi. Connected my phone to the app and if there's anything wrong, I can diagnose it using that which is great.
I knew it was going to be tall, but I didn't imagine it would be this tall! It was difficult getting it into the house as I forgot to check the dimensions (silly me!)
Overall, a lovely fridge freezer though. Remember to check the dimensions though as you may struggle getting it into a house with low ceiling or even trying to reach the top shelf!
Lots of features and great cooling, I'm in love with it so far!"
