"I probably should give 5 stars as the issues I have are possibly due to me being used to gas. This unit unlike normal electric hobs does respond immediately when reducing the heat. However, I am not overly impressed at the time it takes to heat up. Another plus is that it's very easy to clean which is why we got it. I would suggest you get silicone pads to cook with so as to prevent scratches. "
"Was a bit dubious about changing from a gas hob to electric but all my worries were alaid with this fab Zanussi induction hob. It is soooo easy to use even my hubby can work it!!! It is super quick, easy to clean & looks lovely.
Should have changed it years ago!

"I was a firm 'gas' man but this hob has converted me. Very slick, easy to clean, user friendly and easy to control. Instant response and extremely powerful - on full power a steel pan with 1" of water comes to the boil in about 20 seconds. It would take 1-2minutes on a gas ring. There's a few extra features, such as timers and auto power reduction which I haven't quite mastered yet but the pause feature is good, low power setting (1) is very gentle, and pan detection which turns off the ring when you lift the pan off works well.
Only negatives are minor and not necessarily related to the hob; My aluminium pans with stainless steel inserts make occasional buzzing and creaking noises which was a bit unnerving to start and there are issues with very small pans if not centred properly. There is also a marked difference between the way aluminium pans and my full stainless steel pans heat up. The heat response from stainless is much more extreme. You definitely need to watch the pans when using full power (P) setting. Controls can get a little flaky if you clean the control area with a wet cloth but the hob doesn't seem to mind things boiling over on the ring area.
All in all, excellent!"
