Apps: so so many pre-loaded apps you won’t use, don’t want and which make using the apps you do want slow that you’ll wish you’d bought another TV.
This is my second Samsung smart TV. The first works absolutely fine. This one however has far more pre-loaded apps. And you can not delete them off your app bar. And you don’t even seem to be able to change the order of them in your app bar, so they are always the first things that pop up when you turn on the tv. The tv even seems to crash frequently when opening other apps, presumable because it’s working to start up the background functionality of all the unnecessary apps you aren’t using, like Samsung TV, rakuten, and other rubbish. I’ve taken to having to re-set the tv regularly in order to view all-4, I player and other content, otherwise it simply won’t load.
Suggested work-around in Samsung forums don’t work, presumable because software has been updated to counter such measures and keep these things running whether you want them or not. Not happy Samsung. Not happy at all."

"After a week, I am still familiarising myself with the set. As in so many cases these days, instructions are not printed so that they can be studied, and functions operated at one's own pace.(I am 74) Most of it is on screen, and what a lot of variations there are! I have finally adjusted picture so that it is clear,but not so brilliant that I am dazzled. and the sound is very good and clear, I am still finding my way, but overall I am very pleased.I have knocked it back to 4 stars, as a clear set of printed instructions, showing clearly all functions, settings and adjustments would give it 5 stars."
