"Took the plunge on new technology for a tumble dryer to replace a condensing dryer. I wanted something cheaper to run and without having to connect to an outside vent. One of the concerns was other reviews querying the efficiency of the drying. From what I have understood and now with the experience of having one, where the tumble dryer is situated is very important. Heat pumps are impacted by ambient temperature so I would not put one of these in the garage. It sits in our utility room, which means it does not get cold and the dryer seems to warm up nicely and dry clothes. Just one criticism that can impact some items is that it doesn't spin in both directions. This means that some larger items can get tumbled into one roll, which then impacts drying efficiency. I am surprised Bosch did not address that considering the cost of the machine."

Doesn't over-dry clothes like my previous machine (different make)
