"Seems fine so far. I had to turn the drying setting up to max to get things as dry as I wanted them. Plus the 'touch' controls are a bit annoying compared to real buttons. Still happy with the purchase. "

"I was looking for a traditional Condenser Tumble Dryer, rather than the newer 'Heat Pump' type, which I felt did not offer the same level of drying performance. This model was the highest spec that I could find of the Condenser variety.
First impressions are good - the machine is easy to operate, and not too noisy. It still seems to take longer to dry than our previous Bosch however, which lasted in excess of twenty years! That said, it works well enough, and looks great in our utility room.
One major limitation that I've found is that the drum rotates in one direction only, which seems to be standard on today's models. Usually this wouldn't matter, but when drying larger items (such as sheets), they can quickly 'clump' into a tangled ball. I'm not sure why Bosch removed the reversing action from their latest models.
The machine was supplied with a drain kit, which I used to plumb the machine in permanently to a nearby waste pipe. This removes the need to constantly empty the condensate container.
All in all, I'm pleased with this appliance. Let's hope it lasts as long as the old one, and gives us another twenty years of good service!
