"I was initially pleased with the purchase of this fridge/freezer. However fast forward 18 months on and it has just stopped working. An engineer today has confirmed that its beyond economical repair as it needs a new compressor/and then the gas replacing. I know it only has a 12 month warranty but I expect a fridge/freezer to last at least 4/5 years without major issue. I won't be buying this brand, Fridgemaster again or from Hisense (their parent company) as their customer service is non existent unless you want to fork out for one of their expensive repair plans! Just ordered a new fridge/freezer from another brand and reputable shop for not much more than what this appliance cost, new fridge/freezer has a 5 year warranty. I would rather not give Fridgemaster any more of my money. Just want to highlight this potential issue to other purchasers."
"First of all the fridge freezer looks good. It is very quiet while running. It is spacious inside, and there is room in the fridge door for tall bottles and cartons to stand up, I haven’t used the built in water dispenser yet, but it is neat , and doesn’t take up much room inside the fridge. I like the fixed shelf in the freezer so I don’t lose ice cubes and herbs etc..so far really like this fridge freezer, and think it is very good value for money."
