"This is the second Sharp flat bed microwave I've had.
I like the drop down door which makes it easy to access. I also prefer the flat bed rather than the turntable. It's much easier to clean with a wipe round. It's a smart looking microwave.
The only downside is that it's rather noisy when using as conventional oven, but overall I'm happy with this microwave "

"So far its working great. I was surprised as it seems a bit noisy, especially on convection oven. having said, that I can put up with a slightly noisier product as it works very well. I am using this instead of my main oven, it heats up quickly so is less expensive to use! quite important given the cost of electricity these days. I am pleased with this oven, and the only reason it has a 4* from me was more noisier than usual.
I love the drop down door. Also, no turntable, its really great not having to cope with that. It looks smart and although it seems a bit bigger I have it in a corner on the worktop, so its no bigger than my old one. Would recommend as its very good value for the money."

"Only used it for one week and no issues so far. The oven and microwave work well, not tried the grill.
I read many reviews prior to buying as I have not had a flatbed before, some mentioned loud noise and size.
I have found the oven to be quieter than my main fan oven (which is quite quiet anyway).
Size - yes, sadly it does takes up a large footprint on the worktop. It needs a 30cm gap either side of the unit and 20cm clearance above it.
Other items of note
i) when the door is open, it opens flat and the handle rests nicely on the worktop.
ii) cannot understand why the optional inner trays for baking and grilling are circular and not square (unless they are using up old stock).
iii) it is easier to wipe clean with not having the turntable"

"Smart design, well built, easy to use, cooks evenly and efficiently. If this lasts as long as my old Sharp combination microwave (36 years) I'll be more than happy. "

"Very pleased with this combination microwave. Saves using Instead of large oven for meals . Heats quickly
Cooks at usual time. Love the flat bed was fed up with the glass tray always coming off trivet but that had lasted 15 years. Would recommend this item."
