"This Hotpoint Curve 13 litre microwave is just right for my small kitchen worktop and sits beautifully and unobtrusively in the corner under the overhead cupboards. As an 89 year old the controls were very simple to learn and use which I did immediately. The turntable is a generous size and slightly larger than in my old bulky microwave. The Curve is almost silent in use and so easy to clean.

"The microwave is very compact and takes up very little room. It is supposed to be up to 700w power, but the actual power button only goes up to 500w. You can only get 700 by pressing the quick start button which according to the instructions is supposed to be just for reheating liquids. In addition when the power button is first pressed you get an error code before getting the first wattage option. Nobody (including the manufacturer) appears to know why! I am disappointed with it and suspect I will be replacing it soon."
