"This looks like an old-fashioned portable TV, so is actually quite stylish sitting on my kitchen counter - more than I thought it'd be. I have no problem at all fitting in a large dinner plate, but this is smaller height-wise than a conventional microwave so keep that in mind if you intend to heat things up like bottles. Also keep in mind that you need at least 30cm clearance at the top for ventilation, so it can't really sit under a cupboard. Performance wise it's only 700w so does take a little bit longer than more powerful models, but in real life use this has not worried me too much. The manual is pretty poor and doesn't tell you, for example, that the microwave will keep running even after the time is up, but will not be applying any power (just running the fan). Also the buttons can sometimes demand quite a big amount of pressure from your finger-press to respond... but apart from that, there's nothing else around like it, so uniqueness is really its selling point!"
