"It's smaller than the previous dishwasher I had (Meile)on the inside and certainly a lot noisier. It's not the greatest dryer and they recomment you take out the top layer of clean items first so that water does not fall on the lower basket. The instructions and actual operation setting buttons are confusing. But It had a 5 year guarantee, so let's hope it has staying power."

The Smeg dishwasher is a great appliance. 10 programmes and it cleans really well. There is sufficient flexibility to place your cutlery, plates etc. And an added bonus - it comes with a 5 year warranty. I don't know of any other dishwasher that offers a 5 year warranty below £400.
Two words of warning though. Read the instruction manual to get your head round the programmes and symbols. Secondly, this dishwasher is heavy. That's a good sign of sturdy build quality but definitely needs two people to get it into the house.
