"I’ve had this appliance 6 months and wanted to give it a fair go before reviewing. My honest review is that unless being eco friendly is your priority, or unless you use your dryer infrequently or for very small loads, this machine is probably not the one for you. We are a family of five and whilst I try and line dry as much as I can, the sheer volume of washing, and the fact that we sometimes need hyping a washed and dried quickly, makes this machine a bad choice for us. Even a couple of pieces of underwear, or a small light T-shirt, take an age to dry. The super quick drying cycle. Is about 3.5 hours - it often has clothes that are still too damp to wear at the end of the cycle unless you put a very small load in. There is no effective way to do an emergency quick dry - Eg a pair of socks and pants or a school sports kit - it just takes so long. What is most difficult is towels - two towels in the machine take over three hours to dry, no good when you are doing three loads of washing a day with a busy family. The capacity is great - but you wouldn’t ever fill it to capacity because nothing would dry! The touch digital controls can be a little temperamental - i’ll tumble dryer is in a slightly difficult place to get to and with my own machine. You could just press a manual button from tight angles and it would start. This one is more tricky. The positive is that unlike my last dryer this one doesn’t shrink anything - it’s very gentle and so you can put a wider range of items in it, as long as you have hours to spend waiting for them to dry! had my last Hotpoint tumble dryer for nearly 20 years - it almost burnt things dry because it got so hot, towels were done in 20 minutes. I assume it wasn’t very good for the environment but I wish I’d not “upgraded” to this heat pump dryer because maybe the technology isn’t there yet to make
It as efficient as my family needs. Genuinely thinking of reverting back and getting rid of this one now as the winter is going to be very difficult trying to dry everything indoors, either on airers or (very slowly) in the tumble dryer. "

"Love this so far. Sometimes I do get annoyed with it when i just want to tumble dry my bedding and the auto-dry detector turns the dryer off but if you use the timed drying option it usually does what I want it to. Love the water tank being on the top saves me bending over to get it out. Love that a lot. And it dries very well doesnt make much noise and is just a good purchase in general. "
