"Great product but not quite as usuable a space as I was expecting. That said real quality.
I was coming from a Bosch of almost identical size but with a 60:40 split. As my fridge usually has space and my freezer is always crammed and short of space I thought I'd transition to a 50:50 this time around.
However, whilst the fridge is definately smaller, I cannot notice any difference in the freezer size in terms of capacity. The number of draws is the same as my previous freezer and the amount I can get in them is identical (I transferred one full freezer to the other).
Whilst I'm delighted with the quality of the fridge freezer overall, it's real quality (which is probably why Miele rebadge them), super quiet and everything is sold as rock, it's a shame the extra freezer capacity seems to be in dead and not usable space. Were it not for that, it would be perfect.
I would also echo some other users comments that Liebherr should include another main shelf as not everyone needs a wine shelf and I also think another door shelf would be great as there's room for 3 shelves in the door on the existing hangers if the top two are used for jars and eggs respectively. As my top shelf of the 2 shelves is used for jars, I'm in the boat of being short of an egg shelf which would fit. I'll probably buy a couple of extra shelves at a later date, but it would be nice if Liebherr could supply them as standard given the price.

"Beautiful fridge freezer. Just load and go. Pretty quiet and spacious, especially the freezer. I bought the 50/50 split. It has a large salad/veg drawer and a wine rack which fits 2 litre drinks bottles and with a bit of swapping and rearranging, I have found a system which fits loads more stuff than my old one"
"Average at best, lot of money for something that's only 'ok'. The instructions aren't the clearest which you might expect from a no-brand value product but not this, there is no minimum time given for activation (i.e. allowing refrigerant to settle), and it is slightly confusing; there are two on/off switches, supposedly one for fridge and one for freezer, yet each also controls the other. Temp warning buzzer is useful but other features are complicated and largely irrelevant (Sabbath mode!). The quality is fairly good, and the on paper volumes are what made me choose this product, in particular a decent freezer, but what isn't apparent until you see the fridge in person is the fridge space is largely useless with a lot of wasted volume at the top, and the large 'fresh' drawer at the bottom might seem a generous size, this means that the door storage for things like milk has to sit above the drawer rather than level with the bottom of the fridge, and the upper door storage has to be at its highest position if you intend on carrying 2l bottles of drink in the door, so all in all leaves me feeling like for a family of four, we need another fridge. I would suggest saving the money and buying a cheaper model where more thought has apparently gone into making the most use of the space and not having pointless extra features."

"Excellent product - well made, solid and lots of useful features. Fits in well with the kitchen and lots of space in the freezer section.
I had some difficulty in adjusting the feet to make it level, but managed in the end. "
