"A clear flat surface which extends the work surface when not in use. Use a “fabric” COVER. The slider control is very useful. The instant heat will hopefully save on electricity. Downside some (most) aluminium pans had to be given away. We did buy a flat iron hot plate to use non magnetic containers."

"I am delighted with this hob - our first induction hob. Nearly all my pans work on it. I just needed to buy a low-cost converter plate for my Italian-style coffee-maker. The built-in digital timer is great for things like timing pasta. The unit looks great with a low profile and attractive markings. It has effective touch controls and being an induction hob is very efficient and responsive and cools down rapidly. No more over-boils like happened with the conventional ceramic hob this replaced. Super-easy to clean. The only glitch we had was that the first one supplied was found on opening to have a chip to the ceramic. It was replaced by AO very promptly."
