"we expected Smeg to be a high quality item but it doesn't seem to be. We never actuality got it installed as it was damaged on delivery, but the quality is not what expected. The enamel is scratched and looks to be very easy to scratch so can't imagine this wearing very well when cleaning etc. The control knobs look very plastic and one was broken due to poor packaging. None of the cast iron pan supports lay flat on the hob, they all rock. Seems like Smeg are trading on the name with a very poor quality product."
