"When our 10 year old LG machine started to play up we thought it was time to look for a new machine, the technology and energy efficiency will have moved on a lot in ten years. We looked at a couple of brands but went for LG again due to the faultless service from our last machine and the fact the direct drive makes these so quiet when running. We were not that bothered about having wifi on the washer (as if the mfr turns off the servers in the future its pointless) however a good offer from AO meant it was a deal worth going for, and its surprising useful as a feature!. Setting this up it did not dissapoint, the quality we expect from LG along with the near silent operation means a big thumbs up from the start. Setting up the wifi part was a bit of a pain even though I'd very familiar with tech, lots of faffing about which took 9 goes to get it to work properly. Super easy to use with or without the app with display laid out in a common sense way which makes it easy to select and modify programmes as you wish. The app lets you down load extra programmes such as baby or jeans etc, however note you can only have 1 downloaded programme at a time (which when downloaded you can also access from the washer without a phone). The 1400 spin speed means clothes come out very dry and we've noticed they seem cleaner than from our old machine (smell great which you'd expect). The only down side so far was the app set up, everything else has been as we'd have expected, with the bonus its quieter than our old machine which was quiet anyway. Was unpacked and up and running in ten mins with the first load and we've given it a few good loads since then, everything so far has been positive. Also note that as with most machines they tend to steer you towards using powder, especially for delay starts so might be worth considering. If you've got a machine the age ours was you will notice cycles take longer than you're used to (up to 3 hours for a full load) however having looked at lots of machines thats how things are now. That said there is a turbo cycle so you can do at full was in 59 mins (or part was in 14mins) although the 59 min turbo will use more energy. Would not hesiate to recommned the machine and the service from AO was first class. Ordered this on a sunday late morning, by 8AM next day it was in and running its first wash. "

"My third LG washing machine and this new one is brilliant. So easy to use and versatile settings for every type of load. Love the Turbo at 60 degrees which takes just over an hour with 1400 spin. Very quiet and still plays the same tune at the end of the wash as my last LG which makes me smile.

"After having a Bosch washing machine for 12 years I was rather apprehensive about the new technology and the lengthy wash cycles that everyone mentions. I needn't have worried, this machine is so easy to use , is quiet and most programmes take no longer than my previous machine. "

"Difficult to choose online without seeing item but I did well. Product offers adaptable washing options to suit weight load and materials. Impressed by how quiet it is. Manual is easy to follow. Never had LG before so trusting it lives up to initial impression."

"Coming from a Samsung Ecobubble, this LG is quieter and nicer feel of quality about it. Cost a little more, but with price matching from AO it was well worth it. Programs are comprehensive before downloading any extra ones. Not connected it to wifi for remote use and notifications yet."

"What a revelation this machine is!
It is big capacity and amazingly quiet in comparison to our old one. So much so that i kept going into these kitchen to check it was actually working - honestly.
The 1400 spin means my sports kit comes out almost dry, meaning less time in tumble dryer = money saving.
