"This was a replacement to a Bosch series 6 dishwasher that gave up the ghost. I decided that it was cheaper to replace than repair. It's easy to install if you already have the pipes in place. I really like the cutlery drawer rather than a basket as it gives much more room for plates etc and the the drawer is easier to unload. I'm not sure whether it is the development of lighter materials but the drawers seem much lighter in this series 4 than my old series 6. As expected it washes fine and there seems to be a wide range of different programmes to use. The standard wash on the speed setting takes about 1h 25m. My only niggle is that the series 4 doesn't make a sound at the end of the wash like the series 6, but I knew that when I brought it. You get a very small packet of Finnish (tablet and rinse aid) included, but no salt. "

"Having had a Bosch dishwasher for 11yrs it finally gave up. Looked at other makes but still ended up with another Bosch. Had the new one 3 weeks now and just as good as our old one. Hopefully we will have another 11yrs+ of trouble free service."

"We bought this to replace a 12 year old Bosch one that had performed really well, but finally gave up. This is even better. I love the cutlery tray - holds far more and cleans better. We needed to lower the top basket, which is a very useful feature. My only slight criticism is that the right hand side of the top basket doesn’t hold our mugs any more as they are too wide. They go over the spikes though and got well cleaned, so a minor niggle. Overall very pleased."

"Easy to install and easy to use. Not a complaint, just an observation: the packing layout takes a bit of getting used to if you have previously used a dishwasher with a cutlery basket. This one uses a cutlery rack."
