"This appliance is really first class. It is stylish and incorporates some really excellent design features such as the integral ice trays that we are using constantly. Would recommend this to anyone looking to buy an American fridge freezer"

Generally seems an excellent, well priced product

"Overall, this unit is quiet, seems very efficient, and is easy to position thanks to its castor arrangement. It hides its size well in this finish despite our small and low old cottage. 5th star missing only because of the cold water dispenser system. Manual instructs that the water tank, seal-ring and water-dispensing valve are removed for cleaning before first use. The sealing arrangement situated behind the valve which you only encounter when the valve is removed revealing the "water dispenser moulding hole" (n.b. NOT the above-mentioned seal-ring) appears on our unit to be a mixture of a partially twisted, poorly fitted flat plastic or rubber washer and some sort of mastic, perhaps added to stop the thing leaking on initial post-manufacture testing? Some of the mastic - if that's what it is - had become hardened and dislodged. Questionable workmanship/inspection? Looked a bit of a mess down in there! The rest of the unit appears very well made. The instruction booklet and diagrams are not great, however. Water dispenser refitting is awkward and our first two attempts saw water pouring down inside the fridge door (manual says fit sealing-ring to tank first but in fact we only had success when fitting it inside the valve and then pushing the tank onto it. This discovery was at our third reassembly attempt. Presumably we'll get better at this removal/cleaning/refitting job which is recommended monthly, but we wondered why not just drop in a Milton sterilising tablet in the tank once a month instead? Anyway, the ice cold water is very welcome and all the more satisfying after the initial fight to get it working! Be warned! If you're locating the unit in a room corner, you'll need AT LEAST the recommended 20cm gap in order to be able to open the door wide enough to fully remove the salad drawers or glass shelves for cleaning purposes. Stoves tech department, should you have cause to phone them, are helpful, UK based and know their products. On-hold times are lengthy, but that's Coronavirus for you. Service backup looks like it'll be no problem if anything should go wrong anyway. All in all, I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who doesn't want to pay a fortune or have the hassle of plumbing in a cold water dispenser. "

Stoves American fridge freezer

"I am very happy with my new fridge freezer. It has plenty of space for storing all sorts. A big hit with the children has been the cold water dispenser and the ice maker. The only small annoyance is when you have got a lovely cold glass of water from the dispenser it then goes on to dribble down the front of the door, so I am constantly wiping it dry!"
