"Be warned if you buy this during Covid without installation - AO just dumped it in my kitchen in the packaging. Leaving me to unpack and then try and move a 132KG+ fridge off the 10cm high base it gets delivered on. Incredibly difficult and very dangerous.
And of course the packaging was damaged & the freezer has a small dent in one door.
As far for the fridge freezer -
The lights are mounted front and one side only. So the cabinet isn't lit up inadequately.
No shelf is adjustable.
The instaview pane isn't completely opaque when the lights are off - the pictures aren't clear on this.
It's not possible to find the actual temperature of the fridge or freezer, the display only shows the set temperature. This is not optimal and certainly a big oversight at this price point.
All in all, this unit may look good, but I feel it's very poor value for money with a bunch of features missing.
Come on LG, it's 2020 not 1999!

"Amazing fridge freezer. I absolutely love it, so smart, so much room to store food and see what is in the fridge without dropping the fridge temperature. It is brilliant. The smart tech keep food fresher for longer AND saves energy too! Best electrical appliance I have ever purchased.

"Love it! This fridge freezer is totally "extra" with the door-in-door knock, but it actually is really helpful, and the smaller door for quick access to the ketchup of milk without having to open the whole thing is surprisingly useful. Plus it's a nice show piece and really brings some wow factor to our kitchen. On a practical note I can't fault it either. Stores everything brilliantly, lots of space. One call out is there is a separate small filter for the water that due need to install that doesn't have anywhere you can hide it behind the unit so it needs to be installed somewhere else, most likely beside it on the wall (if it's not standing in a unit space, but where you can see both the sides), so the filter is visible. We've resolves this though by putting a cylinder bin beside it so that it's not visible, so you'd never even know it was there."

"Does what it says on the tin. What a fridge and looks great. Build quality from the water and ice to the glass front door is top notch. Thought it would be a gimmick but really find it useful to get drinks out."

"We love our LG door in door it’s great does everything we want in a fridge freezer, the knock feature is attractive to kids more than us adults!!! What I am disappointed with is the promotion that came with the fridge of £200 cash back from LG, all registered confirmed accepted and now for over a month, even after 60 day payment terms they still haven’t paid me, excused after excuses, AO should take this up with them as it’s being misled on a product! "
