"Spot on easy to fit and moves a lot of air, used solid rectangular ducting from Screwfix, converted to flex just above cabinet. Lamps may be a bit yellow, a doddle to replace with the white you require."

"The cooker hood came well packed and I found it easy to install. It is far more silent in operation than the one it replaced. My wife (hard to please!) is delighted with it.
I fond it hard to understand why a previous reviewer complained that it was very hard to install!
Installation was as easy as expected and should be for any remotely competent diy-er."

"Problems from start to eventual return. Be absolutely sure you want this before you purchase. Instructions are shockingly ambiguous - our experienced kitchen fitter struggled so much that he phoned the SMEH support line. They requested pictures of the cover plate which appears to be bent and won't for onto a flat surface. Eventually SMEG said they couldn't help (with one of their own products!) and suggested returning the item.
If you're fitting to a standard depth wall unit then the fit is very tight and the cover plate exceeds the depth of the unit. Used the unit once without the cover plate and it dripped water onto the pans below continuously. There are no images of this product on the internet showing it installed. Buy something else."
