"Arrived on time as predicted. Took it out of the box - and the door wouldn't open. The linkage between the button and the lock seemed to have dropped off.
Called Panasonic, who quickly determined it needed to be replaced.
Called AO, who arranged a replacement delivery in two days.
New one arrived on time - and it's wonderful.
Effective heating, with no dead times on low power, easy chaining of powers and times, the Chaos Defrost seems to work very well.
My only complaint so far is that whatever time I program in, when I open the door to get the item out, the handle is always at the back, i.e. it seems that on 10 second time resolution, the turntable always makes N+½ revolutions. Perhaps Panasonic could alter the programming in future so the turntable always makes an integer number of revolutions?"

"This internal space is much bigger than others I’ve had, but Panasonic have achieved this without making the overall size bulky. I’m yet to find a plate or container that won’t fit in there. The fact that it’s 1000W means it also gets things to a radioactive level of heat quicker than most others.
It’s easy to use and the stainless steel looks good in most kitchens. It also has lots of extra bells and whistles that you will never use as the quick cook option does the job for nearly everything.
The reason it misses out on a 5* it’s the oven is on the noisy sound. In comparison to my 10 year old LG that I had before, this one sounds more like a hairdresser on full blast than a microwave oven. It’s not a deal breaker but it’s noticeable. "
